The Yamaha HH-65 hi-hat controller can be used to control the hi-hat of a DTXPress III electronic drum kit. It gives you full control, which means you can open and close the hi-hat cymbals at will with your foot. In fact, the HH-65 is so advanced that it even allows for half open hi-hats and foot splash techniques. It'll sound and feel as if you're playing acoustic hi-hats! The controller is compatible with the standard hi-hat of a Yamaha DTX drum kit, but you can also combine it with the additional PCY90AT cymbal.

Yamaha has really gone out of its way to make this hi-hat controller as user-friendly as possible. The HH-65's footboard is fitted with anti-slip strips to keep your foot securely in place, and the pedal itself can be attached to the floor by means of screws.
